GAS EXPLOSION

In the event of a gas explosion, an explosive gas mixture ignites and explodes. If an explosive atmosphere (mixture of flammable gases and oxygen) encounters an ignition source, a gas explosion can occur. Depending on the amount of the explosive gas mixture and the pressure and temperature of the gas, a deflagration or detonation occurs.
