Why is the App World available?
A separate platform for specific application software (applications) has been developed for certain devices in the i.safe MOBILE product portfolio - the App World. These devices run on the i.safe MOBILE Operating System. App World therefore offers a user-friendly way to download and use apps quickly and easily.
Where can I find the i.safe MOBILE App World?
App World is preinstalled on the home screen of each device. As usual, the user can change the position of the App World icon at any time.

App World is easy to use and similar to other digital platforms. To start App World, simply tap on the icon. Tapping on one of the apps opens further information about it. You can now start downloading the app here. A licence from the respective app provider is required to use the apps. This must be purchased from the respective app provider. Existing licences can still be used under certain circumstances. You can find out more about this from the relevant app provider. Further applications will be added to the App World step by step, and it is possible to integrate further applications.

Security
The i.safe MOBILE App World operates on our own server, which is located in Germany. This ensures that it meets the highest security and data protection standards. As the App World forms an integral part of the device software, it is updated automatically when the firmware is updated. These updates contain important security patches, bug fixes and improvements. You will be notified of new updates directly on your device via push notification — quickly, simply and securely. The apps in App World are always up to date, too: as soon as new versions are available, they can be conveniently downloaded and installed via the 'Updates' menu. Before an app becomes available in App World, it undergoes comprehensive testing. The functions, security and reliability are carefully tested by both i.safe MOBILE and the respective solution partner. Our partners receive special test devices for this purpose, enabling them to optimally adapt their software to our devices.
