WI-Fi 6
According to IEEE 802.11ax, Wi-Fi 6 is the current wireless standard and the successor to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac).
Designed to enhance the speed, efficiency and stability of wireless networks, it is particularly beneficial in environments with numerous connected devices, such as homes, offices and public hotspots. Wi-Fi 6 enables higher data rates, shorter response times, and improved energy efficiency. The latter can extend the battery life of mobile devices, for example. The standard also offers higher network capacity and operates in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands. Devices with Wi-Fi 6 are backwards compatible and can communicate with older Wi-Fi devices.
