As it does every year, i.safe MOBILE GmbH made its traditional Christmas donation of €5,000 to two charitable institutions in the region in 2025. During a pre-Christmas meeting at the company headquarters in Lauda-Königshofen, the company management, represented by CEO Martin Haaf and CTO Dirk Amann, presented a donation of €2,500 each to the Dianiño Foundation (earmarked for the Bad Mergentheim region) and the Friends and Supporters of the Evangelische Heimstiftung (Johannes Sichart House in Tauberbischofsheim).

The Christmas donation is an important component of i.safe MOBILE's corporate social responsibility concept. Once again, employees were invited to submit suggestions for donation recipients. The prerequisite for funding is always that the organisation is a non-profit organisation and has roots in the region. The management of i.safe MOBILE welcomed representatives from both organisations at the donation handover. In lively discussions, they presented their work and provided exciting insights into the work of both organisations.

Dr Berthold Maier, psychological psychotherapist and specialist psychologist for diabetes DDG in the psychodiabetology department of the Diabetes Clinic in Bad Mergentheim, reported on the work of the Dianiño Foundation. The foundation offers fast, free and uncomplicated help to children and young people with type 1 diabetes and their families throughout Germany. At the heart of the organisation are the diabetes nannies, who support families in crisis situations and train educational specialists so that children with diabetes can participate fully in everyday school and kindergarten life. Elke Büdenbender, wife of Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, has taken on the patronage of Dianiño. This year's Christmas donation of €2,500 will support the organisation's activities in the Bad Mergentheim region.

Norbert Schick (Head of Market and Environment), Swantje Popp (Regional Director for Hohenlohe-Tauber) and Nadine Veit (Director of the Johannes Sichart House) represented the Förderverein Evangelische Heimstiftung e.V. (Protestant Home Foundation Association). Founded in 2006, the association is committed to providing holistic care for people in need in accordance with Christian principles. It promotes various areas of social welfare, such as care for the elderly, nursing care and support for people with disabilities. The donation will directly support the valuable work carried out at the Johannes Sichart House in Tauberbischofsheim.

Following the discussions, CEO Martin Haaf and CTO Dirk Amann from i.safe MOBILE presented both organisations with a symbolic cheque for €2,500 each. Swantje Popp, Regional Director of the Hohenlohe-Tauber division of Evangelische Heimstiftung GmbH, welcomed the financial support from i.safe MOBILE at this point in time: ‘We are redesigning our dementia residential group and are very pleased about this donation, which will provide us with considerable support.’ Dr Berthold Maier, Department of Psychodiabetology, Diabetes Clinic Bad Mergentheim, Dianiño Foundation, is delighted with the Christmas donation: ‘We will use the money to further expand our “nanny project”. These nannies are diabetes advisors who visit children at home and advise and care for them in their family environment.’

The management of i.safe MOBILE was impressed by the work of both institutions. Martin Haaf, CEO, commented on the donation: ‘We were impressed by the valuable work done by these institutions. Our Christmas donation is part of a long-standing tradition: instead of sending gifts and greeting cards, we provide targeted support for projects here in the region. The positive response encourages us in this – and we hope that our example will be followed by others, whether through financial contributions or active participation.’
