I.SAFE MOBILE SUPPORTS THE OUTPATIENT CHILDREN‘S AND YOUTH HOSPICE SERVICE „SONNENSCHEIN“

This year again i.safe MOBILE GmbH engages in donating to a local project. In 2019 the Malteser children’s and youth hospice „Sonnenschein“ in the Main-Tauber district will be supported with the Christmas donation of 5000 Euro.

As in previous years, the medium tier company, based in Lauda-Königshofen, with business field of mobile communication devices for potentially explosive atmospheres, has continued to grow and can look back on successful months. The three managing directors Dirk Amann, Martin Haaf and Uwe Scholz would like to share this success again with those who find themselves in difficult life situations and need help and support.

As part of the donation handover, the hospice coordinators Elsbeth Kiesel and Silke Schlör presented the work of the 25 volunteers of the outpatient children's and youth hospice service. The employees accompany families in which a child or adolescent suffers from a progressive and life-shortening illness and support them in crisis situations. But even for families in which one parent is terminally ill, the volunteers are available to help. The aim of the support is to back up the affected person and to provide assistance in everyday life in order to make the most out of the remaining time with the best possible quality of life. Even during the mourning phase, the qualified hospice team is there for the affected families and accompanies them.

According to Elsbeth Kiesel, information and education are particularly important in the hospice service. Therefore, all voluntary activities are prepared and trained in advance according to a nationally recognized model. The donation from i.safe MOBILE will flow into this section.
