LAND MOBILE RADIO (LMR)

Land Mobile Radio (in the US: LMR) and Professional Mobile Radio, also Private Mobile Radio (in the UK: PMR) refers to analog and digital professional radio. 

LMR/PMR is mainly used by companies and organizations, but also by the fire brigade or security services that have to stay in contact with a central base over a short distance.
